ADIRONDACK LOON MIGRATION

I recently found an article in Adirondack Life magazine describing the annual migration of Adirondack Loons to the coast of Cape Cod during the winter months. The article further described how scientists have used satellite telemetry to track the birds in recent years and that one particular Adirondack Loon can be tracked on line. In looking at the website, two Adirondack Loons can actually be tracked, 42468 and 42469.  It is interesting to look at these birds and how they travel to places like Cape Cod and Rhode Island during the winter months and return to the Adirondacks during the summer months.
